Whether it’ll be enough to revive the platform remains to be seen, as a lot has changed in DJ software in the three years since Mixvibes Cross 3 was released – not least that most DJ platforms now work on dedicated hardware. Stated improvements include Retina/HiDPI display, modular layout with the ability to hide/show chosen elements, improved beatmixing on autoplay, optional autocue points on analysis, and a whole host of new FX presets with four instead of two simultaneous FX.
